Job summary

National-Spine-and-Pain-Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to greet patients, relay messages, and assist providers with procedures. You will prepare exam rooms, document vitals, meds, and orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

In this role, you’ll maintain sterile technique, follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, and support administrative tasks when not providing direct patient care. A high school diploma or MA program graduation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred OR 2 years MA experience.
• Experience taking vital signs and basic clinical duties.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology and OSHA/HIPAA rules.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic software for patient records.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and relays messages to providers.
• Assist with procedures and clinical responsibilities using sterile techniques.
• Prepare patient rooms and ensure safety and comfort.
• Document patient charts, vitals, meds, and orders.
• Provide discharge instructions and educational materials.
• Support follow-up calls and administrative duties when not performing care.
