Job summary

CAPWN is seeking a Medical Support Staff to assist Health Center patients from intake to checkout for clinical visits. You will ensure patient satisfaction through strong customer service and accurate clinical data entry into the electronic health record.

You will monitor charts for accuracy and continuity, support with language materials, and help prepare exam rooms. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, Basic Nursing Assistant certification, and familiarity with office procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic Nursing Assistant certification.
• Knowledge of office procedures including telephone communications, office systems and record keeping; computer use with at least one year of experience.
• Strong interpersonal and initiative skills.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Physically and mentally able to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist Health Center patients from intake to checkout for clinical visits.
• Ensure patient satisfaction with emphasis on customer service and data entry of agency forms.
• Monitor electronic medical charts for accuracy and continuity.
• Follow clinic procedures: scheduling, rooming, vital signs, data entry in EHR.
• Maintain confidentiality per CAPWN HIPAA policies.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and contribute to team goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
