Comprehensive Community Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (Medical) to greet, sign in, and guide patients, manage schedules, verify information, and handle registrations using the PM system.

The role emphasizes patient experience, billing support, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and two years of medical office experience; medical assistant certification and AAMA certification are preferred, with bilingual abilities

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, Armenian, or Russian.
• Two years experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Certification through AAMA preferred.
• Experience operating a computer and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient/provider schedule and follow office policies.
• Greet and sign in patients, providing exceptional patient experience.
• Check in patients and update information in the medical record.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and payments as required.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information.
• Register patient data through PM system and scan documents.
• Submit information per procedure and report equipment or supplies needed.
