Job summary

Eventus WholeHealth in Warrenton, NC is seeking a Clinician Support Specialist (CSS) to help the clinical care team coordinate workflows, support services, and enhance communication among patients, providers, and care teams.

You will assist with chart preparation, encounter documentation, scheduling, telehealth support, and discharge planning, contributing to efficient, high‑quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, CNA, or PCT highly preferred
• Minimum one year of patient care experience highly preferred, medical scribing experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, supportive, and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring all necessary patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready in advance
• Support clinicians in delivering care by assisting with encounter documentation, data entry, and chart preparation
• Coordinate and maintain accurate patient schedules, including updates for admissions, discharges, and acute changes
• Serve as a liaison between clinicians, facility staff, patients, and families to support communication and quality care delivery
• Assist with triage needs and documentation as directed by the clinician
• Organize and manage clinical documentation, including lab results, diagnostic data, and patient records
• Host and support telehealth visits for both routine and acute care needs
• Obtain and process patient consents and ensure proper routing of documentation
• Participate in facility meetings and communicate updates to the care team
• Support discharge planning and ensure accurate patient census and records
• Maintain professionalism and represent the organization positively within partner facilities
