Valley Health System is seeking a Clinical Support Associate to assist in the Cardiovascular Lab. The role supports patient care under an RN, handles supply management, patient movement, and coordination among care teams with a professional and cooperative demeanor.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; CNA registry preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills are essential for success in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required; HCP/AHA approved.
• Registry of the VA Board of Nursing as Certified Nurse Aide preferred.
• Keyboarding and computer skills required.
• Medical Terminology preferred.
• Positive customer service skills required.

Job Description Clinical Support Associate facilitates the delivery of patient care by performing specific patient care tasks and supportive functions as delegated by the RN, such as supply management and patient movement and repositioning tasks. Other responsibilities include customer service, specific administrative/clerical tasks, support functions and facilitating communication among team members under the supervision of a registered nurse; requires a person with a positive attitude who is pleasant and cooperative; displays a professional demeanor with patients, families, physicians and fellow employees; works well under stressful conditions and remains pleasant and productive; works as a team member.

Education High School Diploma or equivalent required

Certification & Licensures BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required * Registry of the VA Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide preferred
