Job summary

You will prepare exam rooms, obtain vitals, assist with injections and DME, and enter patient information into EMR while helping keep the clinic running smoothly and safely. Regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience as a medical assistant.
• Clinical knowledge; familiar with billing and scheduling software.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills; typing 45+ wpm.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical materials required for patient visit.
• Prepare patient exam rooms and clean rooms after clinic.
• Escort and room patient to exam room.
• Obtain and record vitals (BP, pulse, temp, weight).
• Prepare injection site for physicians; assist with DME as directed.
• Administer patient education as directed by physicians.
• Assist Supervisor with daily clinical activities.
• Data entry of new patient information into EMR.
• Scan charts into EMR system.
