Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of specialty clinical experience, gastroenterology preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred; must be computer literate and able to operate healthcare system and multiple Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, including endo procedures.
• Obtain and communicate lab or radiology results to physicians/patients.
• Process prescription refills for physician approval.
• Answer emails/voicemails and return patient calls promptly.
• Maintain patient records and assist with billing/payment processes.
• Support office manager and participate in staff meetings.
• Triage calls and perform other PSC functions as directed by management.
