Job summary

The Clinical Supervisor at ICL's Staying OnTrack program in Brooklyn, NY will oversee day-to-day clinical operations and supervise staff delivering trauma-informed, peer-led continuing care. The role focuses on intake assessment, service planning, interventions, discharge planning, and crisis management to support youth and adults with behavioral health needs involved with the justice system.

Qualified applicants are NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselors with clinical supervision experience;

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor and maintain licensure.
• Minimum one year of clinical supervision experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Part 599 regulations for NYS OMH licensed Article 31 clinics.
• Experience working with justice-involved individuals is helpful.
• Maintenance of licensure is mandatory for Medicaid/Medicare eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations including intake, service planning, interventions, and discharge planning.
• Provide direct individual and group supervision to staff.
• Deliver trainings on co-occurring disorders and motivational interviewing.
• Model recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, culturally competent care.
• Ensure evidence-based practices for behavioral health in justice-involved clients.
• Integrate risk-need-responsivity and risk assessment into clinic operations.
• Review chart quality and ensure OMH/ICL compliance.
• Assist with high-risk lists, crisis management, and 24/7 crisis phone service.
• Train staff on EHR use and standardized workflows; collaborate with admin/clinical teams.
