Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our Detox and Residential facility in Norfolk, VA. You will support the Clinical Director, oversee the clinical program, and ensure a supportive recovery environment for clients.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree or higher and VA licensure (LPC/LCSW/LSATP), with 3+ years in chemical dependency or dual-diagnosis settings. Excellent organization and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in related field is preferred.
3 years of experience with chemical dependency or dual diagnosis is preferred.
Current VA licensure to practice: LPC, LCSW, LSATP.

Responsibilities

Support and assist Clinical Director in relevant duties.
Manage daily execution of the clinical program.
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a recovery-focused environment.
Facilitate group sessions occasionally and manage a small caseload.
Provide compliance oversight for client documentation.
Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention.

Now Hiring a Clinical Supervisor for our Detox and Residential treatment facility, in Norfolk, VA.

What You'll Do

Support and assist Clinical Director as necessary in all relevant duties
Manage the daily execution of all aspects of the Avenues clinical program
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and encouraging recovery environment
Facilitate group occasionally and maintain small client caseload
Provide consistent compliance oversight to ensure impeccable client documentation
Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention throughout treatment

What We're Looking For

Master's degree or higher in related field preferred
3 years experience working with chemical dependency or dual diagnosed clients preferred
Current licensure necessary to practice in this state for this role: LPC, LCSW, LSATP
Efficient and driven, with strong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent interper sonal, observational, and communication skills
Positive, warm, and dignified character which models recovery principles
