Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Clinical Supervisor for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Norfolk, VA. You will support the Clinical Director, oversee daily operations of the clinical program, and help create a warm, recovery-focused environment for clients.

The role requires a Master’s degree and VA licensure, with several years of experience in chemical dependency; candidates should be organized, personable, and capable of supervising groups and ensuring accurate

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• 3 years experience working with chemical dependency or dual diagnosed clients preferred.
• Current licensure to practice in Virginia: LPC, LCSW, LSATP.
• Efficient and driven, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Positive, warm, and dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist Clinical Director as necessary in all relevant duties.
• Manage the daily execution of all aspects of the Avenues clinical program.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and encouraging recovery environment.
• Facilitate group occasionally and maintain small client caseload.
• Provide consistent compliance oversight to ensure impeccable client documentation.
• Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention throughout treatment.

What You'll Do
