Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our unit-based leadership team in Atlanta. You will supervise nursing operations within a designated unit and may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility in the Manager/Director's absence.

The role requires a nursing degree, current Georgia RN license (or multi-state), and BLS certification. You will work with a unit-specific patient population to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three years of clinical experience with a minimum of one year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Multistate license (NLC/eNLC).
• Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing operations of a unit as a member of the unit-based leadership team.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Work with a unit-specific patient population.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain patient care quality and safety.

REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR

Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

1. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
2. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
