Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university-based Speech/Language pathology program with a Master's degree.
• Texas license to practice speech-language pathology; ASHA certification; BLS.
• One year of experience preferred; ability to mentor/train staff and supervise interns.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and rehabilitate patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders; develop goals and plans of care.
• Document findings, progress, and patient care in the medical record; adjust treatment as needed.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to assistants, students, interns, and rehabilitation staff.
• Provide program development support and lead staff development initiatives.
