Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice speech/language pathology in Texas.
• ASHA certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluation of patients with physician referrals.
• Interprets findings, develops written care plans and goals.
• Implements therapy and re-assesses patient progress.
• Documents in medical records and communicates with families.
• May serve as Clinical Instructor for speech interns.
• Adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and ensures safe patient care.
