Job summary

Penn State Health Milton Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Specialist Respiratory Therapy to join our Respiratory Therapy team. This full‑time role offers a $15,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates and access to substantial tuition support through our Grant‑in‑Aid program.

The successful candidate will provide respiratory therapy expertise within a multidisciplinary microsystem, lead quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes and safety, and collaborate on staff and patient

Qualifications

• Licensed respiratory therapist with PA licensure and credentials.
• 3–5 years of experience in adult or neonatal critical care.
• RRT credential; ACCS or NPS credential.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide respiratory therapy expertise for a defined microsystem. Lead quality care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety. Collaborate in staff and patient education activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree from an accredited CoARC respiratory therapist program, with 3-5 years of experience in a specialized area of respiratory therapy such as adult or neonatal critical care.
• RRT credential.
• Currently licensed to practice as a respiratory by Pennsylvania Board of Medicine. ACCS or NPS credential.
