Penn State Health - Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a Manager Respiratory Care to lead and develop the Respiratory Care Department, oversee staff hiring and supervision, and contribute to budget and policy initiatives.

The role emphasizes implementing a continuing education program for staff and developing a patient education program to improve care across units including adult, pediatric and neonatal services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • PA licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Respiratory Therapy instructor required.
  • Experience in adult critical care, pediatric and neonatal care.

Responsibilities

Also responsible for the development and implementation of a continuing clinical education program for Respiratory Care including both new employee orientation and ongoing education for staff. This position is also responsible for developing and managing a patient education program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Licensure in the state of PA as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant experience required
  • Respiratory Therapy instructor required
  • Must have experience in all areas of Respiratory Care including: adult critical care, pediatric and neonatal care.
