Job summary

Women In Need, Inc. (Win) in New York seeks a Clinical Specialist to lead advancement of evidence-based practice across transitional and supportive housing programs. You will partner with the Win Academy team to design and deliver trainings and provide clinical consultation.

Reporting to the Director of Evidence Based Practices, you will coach staff, align materials with best practices, facilitate monthly coaching, and help disseminate organizational learning through publications and conferences.

Qualifications

• MSW required; LMSW preferred.
• Experience with individuals and families impacted by homelessness, trauma, mental health challenges, substance use, poverty or inequities.
• Expertise in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Strengths-Based Case Management, and recovery-oriented practices.
• Experience facilitating training and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate agency-wide training in evidence-based practices.
• Support development and improvement of training curricula and learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with external partners to coordinate and facilitate training.
• Ensure training materials stay current and aligned with best practices.
• Provide monthly onsite coaching, clinical consultation, and technical assistance.
• Promote implementation of evidence-based practices across programs.
• Participate in agency-wide committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed of emerging research and proven methodologies.
• Identify external training and professional development opportunities.
• Assist with publication and dissemination of organizational learning.
