Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a field-based Clinical Specialist in the Neuroscience division to provide clinical, technical and product knowledge support across multiple accounts. The role requires travel within the territory, collaboration with NRCs and Surgical Synergy teams, and on-site installations of technology-enabled procedures.

Qualifications

Residence within the territory and willingness to travel for on-site customer engagements.
Strong technical aptitude for medical devices and software/hardware integration.
Ability to educate physicians and hospital staff on technology-enabled procedures.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, support, and collaborate with NRCs and Surgical Synergy team members for on-site installations with customers.
Represent Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance.
Maintain system hardware and software to maximize performance; install upgrades and perform preventative maintenance.
Provide telephone clinical support to customers and use UNIX/Linux commands as needed.
Act as primary Medtronic liaison for repair, service contracts and customer communications.
Educate physicians and hospital staff on technical matters related to technology-enabled procedures.
