Job summary

Vizient is seeking a senior sourcing leader to develop and execute custom client contracting strategies that reduce spend and improve value. You will provide strategic direction, people leadership, and operational oversight across sourcing strategy, contract planning, supplier negotiations, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, supply chain, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years in strategic sourcing, contracting, or healthcare-related contracting.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience in complex sourcing strategy and contract portfolio development.
• Strong knowledge of contracting processes, compliance, supplier relationship management, and value tracking.
• Advanced financial, analytical, problem-solving, executive communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to influence clients and senior stakeholders within a matrix environment.
• Hybrid work model with three days per week in the office; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing sourcing function and set strategic priorities.
• Develop leaders and teams through feedback, talent development, and succession planning.
• Guide the function through organizational change and tool adoption.
• Oversee lifecycle of 1099 contractor engagements from onboarding to delivery.
