Job summary

Variety Care seeks a Practice Supervisor to lead the Clinical Site support staff and coordinate daily operations. You will implement programs, policies, and process improvements in collaboration with the Administrator, Clinical Site, and support continuing staff education.

Your role includes quality improvement, patient access, and staff satisfaction initiatives. You will supervise scheduling, timekeeping, and onboarding; lead team huddles, and ensure compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Legible handwriting.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills; willingness to learn EHR software.
• Experience handling confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Experience communicating with individuals at various levels, inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a multifaceted environment.
• Experience working in a busy, sometimes stressful setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise health center support staff under the direction of the Administrator, Clinical Site.
• Coordinate staff work schedules and daily assignments; manage appointment templates and coverage.
• Lead team huddles and monthly meetings; provide workflow observations.
• Oversee billing-related timekeeping, collections, and invoices per policy.
• Support accreditation as a Patient-Centered Medical Home and patient experience initiatives.
• Train medical staff on the electronic health record (EHR) program; arrange follow-up training.
• Maintain inventory for medical, dental, and pharmacy departments; order supplies per procedures.
• Investigate patient concerns in collaboration with Compliance Officer or Safety Manager.
