Job summary

You will develop and facilitate groups, coordinate care and referrals, monitor records for compliance, and address complaints.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience working with domestic violence survivors and trauma.
• Three years of supervisory experience is required.
• Licensed Masters in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Case Managers, Housing Specialists, Vocational Specialists, Residential Specialists and interns.
• Provide individual and group supervision to staff.
• Coordinate staff training and professional development opportunities.
• Conduct mental health assessments via comprehensive functional evaluations.
• Develop, monitor and facilitate groups for residents.
• Coordinate mental health care and referrals for clients.
• Monitor resident records for compliance and best practices.
• Address client complaints and conduct investigations as required.
• Represent URI externally to a wide range of stakeholders.
