Job summary

Howard Center is seeking a Service Coordinator to supervise Direct Support Professionals and help implement Individual Support plans. You will exercise independent judgment in crisis situations and ensure compliance with Medicaid and state/federal laws.

The role requires documenting thoroughly in electronic health records and maintaining organized records. A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Six years combination of skills, experience and/or education in human services.
• Qualified Developmental Disability Professional certification required.
• Experience supervising direct staff is expected.
• Ability to use electronic health records and document clinically.
• Valid driving record and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical based supervision to Direct Support Professionals.
• Participate in implementation of client's Individual Support plan.
• Use independent decision making and strong judgement in crisis situations.
• Abide by Medicaid, state, and federal laws.
• Organize and maintain strict documentation.
