Job summary

Conifer Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to accurately arrange diagnostic and/or surgical procedures. You will interview patients, obtain orders, and coordinate with clinical teams to modify schedules while ensuring proper bed placement.

Ideal candidates have RN or LPN licensure, 3+ years in patient access/scheduling, and strong communication and customer service skills to support efficient staffing and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a professional nursing program with a current LPN or RN licensure is preferred.
• 2-5 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
• 3+ years in Patient Access/Scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete/accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during scheduling.
• Enter data in scheduling system and provide prep/appointment instructions.
• Explain hospital procedure guidelines and policies to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical departments on schedule modifications.
