Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support departmental efficiencies through scheduling, registration and admission activities. You will collect accurate patient demographics and verify insurance while explaining financial responsibilities to patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete full patient registration at date of service.
• Explain and secure hospital and patient legal forms; scan PHI.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating post-discharge care; verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
