Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Access representative to support scheduling, registration, pre-admission, and admission processes at the designated hospital site. You will collect accurate patient demographics and apply compliant liability collection practices across the care continuum.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of PC/CRT/printer.
• Knowledge of function and relationships within a hospital environment preferred.
• Customer service skills and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications.
• Understanding of Third Party Payor requirements preferred.
• Understanding of Compliance standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete full patient registration at date of service, explain and secure forms.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and collect payments per policy.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage and eligibility; obtain authorizations as needed.
