Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking an experienced Scheduling Operations Specialist to support clinic scheduling accuracy, template management, and reporting. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and analytical skills across multiple teams to resolve scheduling and operational issues.

The position involves maintaining QGenda and Epic schedules, training faculty and staff on scheduling workflows, and generating reports to identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and four years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or a bachelor's degree and two years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and approve daily clinic cancellation requests in QGenda to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Update QGenda daily to reflect cancellations, schedule changes, and template modifications; ensure Epic schedules stay synchronized.
• Identify and resolve scheduling issues with Patient Access and Central Scheduling; monitor appointments within 30 days and implement feasible changes.
• Provide QGenda training and ongoing support to faculty and staff on scheduling workflows and system use.
• Generate and analyze operational reports using Fabric, Power BI, Excel, Epic, and QGenda to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with providers, staff, and departments to promote accurate scheduling and efficient clinic operations.
• Provide administrative support to the direct manager including email management and meeting coordination.
