Job summary

Western University of Health Sciences seeks an Assistant Director of Clinical Education at its Pomona campus to lead the third- and fourth-year clinical education program. You’ll supervise staff, coordinate student rotations, manage site relations, and monitor the department budget, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term effectiveness.

Reporting to the Associate Dean, you will advance strategic initiatives, ensure smooth curricular delivery, and foster humanistic health care education

Qualifications

• Masters degree required.
• At least five years in higher education and/or clinical administration, including two years supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative oversight for departmental operations, including supervision of staff and rotation coordination.
• Oversee site relations with clinical sites and preceptors; manage budgets and action plans.
• Support curriculum implementation, grades, and assessments in partnership with the Manager of Clinical Education.
