Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CMS regulations, skilled nursing reimbursement, wound care, infection prevention principles, and quality improvement.
• Wound care certification or specialized training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with survey readiness activities and monitor compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
• Conduct routine and focused chart audits to ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide wound care expertise and support wound care treatments and documentation.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff on assessments, treatments, and documentation.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in daily operations.
