The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) at Harris Health assesses, plans, develops, implements and evaluates education activities, competency validation, clinical care, programs and initiatives for the assigned department/units. The CRN demonstrates expert clinical knowledge and effective teaching/education skills and supports system level nursing clinical and education nursing initiatives.

The CRN provides leadership within the department including quality improvement activities and supports resource

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field is required.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Related specialty certification or certification as a nursing professional development specialist (NPD-BC) required within two years of employment.
• Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
• Five (5) years of work experience in related clinical area of practice is required.
• Two (years) related clinical/leadership experience is required.

• The CRN assesses, plans, develops, implements and evaluates education activities, competency validation, clinical care, programs and initiatives for the assigned department/units.
• The CRN demonstrates expert clinical knowledge and skills and supports system level nursing clinical and education nursing initiatives.
• The CRN provides leadership within the department including quality improvement activities and supports effective human resources management.
• The CRN promotes a customer-friendly environment by utilizing ServiceFIRST behaviors in interactions with patients, families, and staff.
• The CRN fosters an enculturation of the Harris Health System Nursing Professional Practice Model and supports compliance with standards and regulations.
