Job summary

The role requires a Master's degree in Nursing or related field, Texas RN license, and certification as an NPD-BC within two years.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field is required.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Certification as an NPD-BC or equivalent required within two years.
• Basic Life Support from a hospital-based AHA approved program.
• Five years of clinical practice and two years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop education activities for the department.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate competency validation and clinical care.
• Provide leadership within nursing, including quality improvement.
• Mentor staff and promote professional nursing practice.
