Job summary

Harris Health System, Inc. seeks a Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate education activities, competency validation, and clinical programs for the assigned department.

The CRN demonstrates expert clinical knowledge and effective teaching skills to support system nursing initiatives. As a member of the nursing leadership team, the CRN leads quality improvement, supports human resources management, and promotes a professional practice environment that

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field is required.
Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
NPD-BC certification within two years of employment.
Basic Life Support from an AHA-approved program.
Other certificates as required by unit/service.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate education activities and clinical care for the assigned department.
Provide leadership in quality improvement, human resources management and accountability.
Promote professional nursing practice and enculturation of the Nursing Professional Practice Model.
Mentor others and participate in nursing organizations, nursing research, and the community.
