Job summary

Middlesex Health is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse to provide expert clinical nursing support 24/7 across the main hospital campus. You will assist staff and patients, coordinate care for unstable patients, and participate in admission assessments and medication reconciliation for newly admitted patients.

The CRN supports staff including nurse residents, responds to RRTs, and ensures safe patient placement while upholding core values and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Connecticut Nursing License.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years emergency and/or critical care nursing experience.
• MOAB, PALS, ACLS certifications preferred on orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff with complex patient care.
• Assist clinical staff with transport of clinically compromised patients.
• Coordinate and support the care of unstable patients.
• Provide timely response to staff requests for clinical assistance.
• Round on all units and offer assistance when necessary.
• Adheres to Core Values and Absolutes.
