Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) to apply the nursing process across patient care, ensuring high-quality outcomes. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, perform triage and bedside care, and participate in rapid response activities to stabilize patients and optimize unit flow.

The role emphasizes mentorship, clinical leadership, and ongoing involvement in quality improvement projects while delivering exceptional patient- and family-centric care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a NJ RN license.
• Minimum 3 years in critical care or ED nursing.
• Telemetry certification and ACLS/BLS beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated patient care.
• Prioritizes ED throughput to inpatient units and supports rapid response.
• Mentors nursing staff and participates in quality improvement data collection.
• Assists with bed placement decisions and patient safety initiatives.
• Supports unit throughput and escalation of discharge barriers.
