Job summary

Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Research Nurse 1 to coordinate oncology trials under the Lombardi Clinical Trials Office. The CRN1 will work with investigators to recruit and screen participants, obtain consent, and ensure protocol adherence throughout the trial lifecycle.

Responsibilities include data collection, patient education, and collaboration with CRNs, CRCs, and regulatory staff to maintain GCP compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• BLS certification and RN license required.
• 3–5 years nursing experience in hospital, clinic, or similar setting.
• Preference for inpatient/ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical trials across the trial lifecycle.
• Recruit and screen study participants; document eligibility and consent.
• Maintain protocol integrity and patient safety per GCP guidelines.
• Provide nursing support to CRNs and CRCs; responsible for regulatory compliance.
