Job summary

Nextonic Solutions LLC seeks a Research Nurse to join the NIH’s NIDDK team in Bethesda, MD. The role will focus on coordinating clinical protocols, training clinicians, and ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety in complex research studies.

You will mentor nursing staff, screen and recruit participants, and collaborate with physicians to advance cancer, diabetes, and liver disease research within regulated clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Nursing experience with CPR certification.
• Master’s degree in nursing with current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience working on clinical protocols.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MedSurg Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate training programs for physicians, nurses and staff.
• Mentor healthcare team in trial execution and address logistical constraints.
• Provide training on protocol implementation and data collection.
• Mentor staff to develop skills in research protocols and clinical practice.
• Recruit and screen patients for protocol participation and assess eligibility.
