Job summary

Axle, a bioscience and IT company, seeks a Research Nurse to join the NIH/NIDDK team in Bethesda, Maryland, supporting clinical protocols and patient care.

You will recruit and assess participants, collect data, maintain records, educate patients, and collaborate with investigators to ensure protocol adherence.

Axle offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits; salary range is $100,000–$110,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience with CPR certification.
• Master’s degree in nursing with current RN licensure.
• Three (3) years specialized experience plus a bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a master’s degree

Responsibilities

• Recruit and screen patients for inclusion in protocols.
• Collect clinical data and maintain computerized patient files.
• Perform physical assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Coordinate education for patients regarding protocol objectives.
• Ensure informed consent and human subjects protection.
• Collaborate with researchers and medical staff to ensure protocol adherence.
