Company:

Our client is a Clinical Research site network with over 15 research sites across the seven states. Their sites conduct Phase I-IV trials in therapeutic areas like cardiology, metabolic disorders, renal, CNS, pulmonology, and vaccines.

Position:

The Program Manager has responsibility for developing and fostering relationships with key decision-makers at CROs, biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Elements include successfully managing an assigned therapeutic area(s) by driving market presence, building a strong sales pipeline, advancing sales opportunities to award, and growing relationships with new and prospective clients to bring clinical research studies to research sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and grow business relationships, along with KOL/SMEs, to drive new business at sites in the assigned therapeutic area(s)
  • Serve as primary corporate contact for new/existing clients for assigned therapeutic area(s)
  • Lead awareness & understanding of the assigned therapeutic area(s) along with KOL/SMEs, to maintain an overview of the development landscape
  • Submit new study opportunities to sites, facilitating responses via collaboration with the appropriate stakeholders and submitting detailed feedback to the client
  • Log and update study opportunities, client requests for information (RFIs), and interactions in the client relationship management (CRM) tool
  • Develop & present capabilities presentations to clients
  • Oversee and drive proposal and bid defense process as needed
  • Maximize the number of sites selected on each trial
  • Provide updates to management and sites of new activities in the assigned therapeutic area(s)
  • Serve as a point of escalation for project concerns
  • Engage/collaborate with KOLs/SMEs to maximize the effectiveness and scientific value of feasibility responses and information requests
