AbbVie in California seeks a skilled clinical research professional to serve as the primary contact for investigative sites, coordinating trial activities and ensuring protocol compliance and patient safety.

You will train site staff, monitor adherence to GCP/ICH guidelines, manage site risk, recruit and retain patients, and collaborate with central monitoring to optimize study performance while upholding AbbVie's standards and customer-focused approach.

Formación

• Appropriate tertiary qualification in health related disciplines (Medical, Scientific, Nursing) preferred or experience or equivalent work experience.
• Clinically related experience, preferably in clinical research coordinating or data management.
• Knowledge of appropriate therapeutic area indications with ability to apply scientific concepts to clinical trials.
• Knowledge of local regulatory and legal requirements, ICH/GCP Guidelines and AbbVie policies.
• Able to work collaboratively and cross functionally to develop and sustain working relationships; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to leverage technology and CRM tools to support site engagement; use of critical thinking and good judgement.
• Interpersonal skills with strong written, verbal, active listening and presentation abilities to build site partnerships.
• Acts with integrity in accordance with AbbVie code of business conduct and values.

Responsabilidades

• Considered as the primary point of contact for the investigative site, provides contextual information on the clinical trials and strengthens AbbVie's positioning.
• Aligns, trains and motivates the site staff and principal investigator on trial goals, protocol and patient treatment principles.
• Conducts site evaluation, site training, routine and site closure monitoring under supervision, compliant with GCP/ICH and AbbVie SOPs.
• Customize site engagement strategy for assigned studies and report progress using CRM tools.
• Evaluates site risk signals and supports risk mitigation to drive study execution and data integrity.
• Ensures data quality and timely reporting of safety events; supports investigator payments per contracts where applicable.
• Ensures audit and regulatory inspection readiness at assigned clinical sites.
• Identifies, evaluates and recommends new investigators/sites under supervision.
• Maintains knowledge of therapeutic area and patient journey to enable recruitment and protocol compliance.
• Promotes collaboration across functional teams to deliver timely and quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
