Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaison to grow referrals and manage a defined territory. You will build relationships with patients, families, physicians, nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payers to drive admissions and strengthen community ties.

You will educate referral sources and hospital staff about our programs, support a smooth referral-to-admission process, and apply market insights to identify new opportunities within your region.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license in the employed state with acceptable driving record.
• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred; one+ year in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop business census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on our hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations about our services and outcomes.
