Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• RHIT certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a HIM environment or healthcare environment.
• One year of Medical Record and/or scanning experience within OnBase preferred.
• Epic Experience preferred.
• Six months of analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the centralized electronic health record by identifying and correcting data-entry issues.
• Coordinate with Patient Access, clinical departments, Pharmacy, Radiology, Lab, and Physicians Offices to ensure corrections are completed.
• Review charts from Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient Surgery to verify missing documents and signatures.
