Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives and interviews patients to collect and verify demographic, clinical and financial data.
• Obtains copies of documents including physician orders and insurance cards; verifies eligibility and obtains authorization as needed.
• Performs order entry for tests and prepares reports and patient identification materials.
• Acts as a lead registrar across patient access sub-departments; trains and supervises staff as needed.
