Job summary

The Institute for Family Health in Bronx, NY seeks an Associate Program Director to oversee the Article 31 clinic program at the assigned location. This role provides direct social work services, crisis intervention, individual, family and group counseling, and contributes to treatment and care planning.

Responsibilities include implementing OMH guidelines, supervising staff and interns, and coordinating quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• NYS licensure as LCSW or related.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Experience supervising interns and staff in healthcare settings.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social work services including crisis intervention and counseling.
• Assist Program Director in implementing OMH and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide off-hours coverage for the center.
• Participate in quality assurance and CQI activities.
• Provide clinical supervision to interns and staff.
• Oversee orientation and training of new staff.
• Analyze supervisees' performance and conduct evaluations.
