Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an Associate Program Director at our New York location to oversee the Article 31 clinic program. This role requires a Master’s degree in social work and NYS licensure as LCSW/LCSW-R, with strong supervisory and data-analysis skills.

The Associate Program Director will provide direct social work services, supervise staff and interns, ensure compliance with OMH guidelines, and participate in CQI activities. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; on-site work in NYC.

• Demonstrates organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to generate, interpret and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Bi-lingual, fluency in Spanish, preferred.

The Associate Program Director is responsible for oversight of Article 31 clinic program at the assigned location.

Requirements

• Provides direct social work services, which include crisis intervention, individual, family and group counseling, in collaboration with other members of an interdisciplinary team and completion of relevant documents, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment/shared care plans.
• Assists the Program Director in the implementation of OMH and other regulatory guidelines.
• Provides off hours coverage for the center.
• Participates in quality assurance and CQI activities.
• Provides and/or ensures clinical and on- site supervision for staff and students.
• Analyzes and evaluates the quantitative and qualitative performance of supervisees, and completes probationary and annual performance evaluations for staff within expected time frames.
• Oversees orientation and training of new staff.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• NYS licensure as LCSW or LCSW-R.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrates organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments at any time.
• Ability to generate, interpret and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Ability to provide advanced clinical supervision to interns and staff.
• Supervisory experience in health care setting, preferably in multi-site ambulatory care setting.
• Bi-lingual, fluency in Spanish, preferred.
