Job summary

The Bowery Residents' Committee in New York, NY seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee Independent Living Specialists and design group counseling programs. You will ensure daily, weekly and monthly DHS statistics are compiled and reviewed, and supervise scheduling and case-management staff.

You will conduct case conferences, review treatment plans, and maintain QA procedures. CPR/first aid and emergency readiness are part of the role.

Qualifications

• BA required; Masters preferred.
• Three years of clinical oversight of programs serving mentally ill and/or substance abusing homeless women preferred.
• CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
• Vaccination preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical supervision to Independent Living Specialists.
• Design and supervise group counseling programs.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly DHS statistics are compiled and submitted for review.
• Supervise scheduling and case-management staff.
• Conduct case conferences, treatment plan reviews, and maintenance of QA procedures.
• Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
• Related duties as assigned.
