Job summary

Mohawk Opportunities Inc. is seeking a Clinical Program Director to establish, administer, and direct the FACT program for clients with serious mental illness involved with the criminal justice system.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage clinical documentation while upholding recovery-based, client-centered practices. This role requires clinical licensure in NY, supervisory experience, and driving capability.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS-licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Minimum of three years’ experience with individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).
• Experience with ACT/FACT teams and supervisory/management responsibilities.
• Must have a valid, insurable NYS driver’s license and own vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations including staff scheduling, morning meetings, and cross-staff coordination.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team; function as a practicing clinician within the team.
• Supervise program documentation and case records, review assessments and progress notes.
• Provide full spectrum clinical treatment and rehabilitative services, including home, community, and office visits; participate in on-call duties.
• Operationalize evidence-based practices with harm-reduction, person-centered, recovery-oriented approaches.
• Ensure services comply with agency procedures and State/Federal regulations (OMH, DOH, Medicaid) and medication processes.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and complete monthly billing.
• Provide transportation to clients and be approved to drive agency or personal vehicles for business purposes.
