Job summary

La Amistad Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Clinical Program Coordinator for a 32-hour-per-week schedule in Florida. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field.
• Florida Registered Intern in counseling and eligible for licensure.
• One year of direct clinical experience with children/adolescents preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to assess stabilization and risk.

Responsibilities

• Assists and monitors residents with a supportive, alert attitude.
• Interacts therapeutically in one-to-one, group and community settings.
• Advocates for residents' rights and confidentiality.
• Understands common psychiatric diagnoses and intervention techniques.
• Demonstrates clinical skills to assess needs and run psychoeducation groups.
• Gathers data, assesses readiness for treatment, and coordinates interventions.
• Documents as required by facility policy.
