Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists and monitors residents in a residential setting, maintaining safety and supportive attitude
• Interacts therapeutically with residents in one-to-one, group, and community settings
• Advocates for resident rights and confidentiality
• Understands common psychiatric diagnoses and uses appropriate interventions
• Demonstrates clinical skill in assessing needs and planning group interventions
• Establishes rapport and facilitates data gathering to assess readiness for treatment
• Documents as required by facility policy
