Job summary

University of New England seeks an Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in Primary Care for its Portland, ME campus. This full-time, non-tenure track role offers academic teaching, clinical care, and administrative opportunities within UNE COM.

Qualifications

• Board-certified DO or MD in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Experience in curricular and teaching, and learner supervision and evaluation.
• Clinical practice experience of at least 5 years (preferred).
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Have or be eligible for Maine licensure to practice.

Responsibilities

• Participate in instruction of medical students through lectures and small groups.
• Precept medical students in clinical settings, providing supervision.
• Provide medical direction and oversight for MatureCare facilities.
• Conduct scholarly activity and participate in community engagement.
