Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 5 years medical office experience with scheduling in an automated environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and Windows/Word/Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and examinations per department guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and perform receptionist duties.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and enter scheduling data.
• Inform patients and staff about preparation instructions.
• Maintain departmental records, logs and reports; print and distribute reports.
