Job summary

Stevenson University Online is seeking a Specialist, Clinical Placement in the School of Nursing & Health Professions: Dean's Office to manage student clinical placements across programs. Responsibilities include tracking compliance, organizing contracts, and coordinating with faculty, staff and clinical partners to ensure smooth placement scheduling.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree with two years of related experience (administrative health care or higher education preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus two years of related experience or equivalent.
• Administrative experience in healthcare or higher education preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and track electronic student clinical documentation to confirm compliance.
• Develop and maintain a master list of active clinical placement sites with liaison contact details.
• Inform students about medical requirements, deadlines, and communicate with non-compliant students as needed.
• Notify hospitals and clinical agencies of incoming student details for placements.
• Maintain updated records of clinical affiliation agreements and renewals.
• Coordinate nursing student placements and monitor enrollment and cancellations.
• Serve as point of contact with partner agencies for placements.
• Manage the Clinical Placements email account and respond within 48 business hours.
• Collaborate to develop department policies for clinical requirements and placements.
