Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (required).
Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
Current CPR or BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
Understanding of growth and development across age groups (infants to elderly).
Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with physicians, patients and families.
Analytical ability to set priorties and contribute to clinical policies.

Responsibilities

Conducts advanced evaluations of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems to inform individualized treatment plans.
Delivers interventions based on latest research and evidence-based standards.
Designs and adapts rehabilitation programs based on progress and outcomes.
Collaborates with physicians to determine DME needs and device recommendations.
Leads discharge planning and home program development when appropriate.
Documents evaluations and progress in compliant records for communication and regulatory purposes.
